What brought you to England Logistics?
I was ready for a job change. The interview with my manager was fun, and I was offered the job on my birthday. It doesn’t get much better than that!
How is England Logistics different than other companies you’ve worked for?
The people at EL rock, especially my manager. He has empathy and is understanding. He’s just super. I don’t dread coming to work.
Which EL core value in COACH Team (Career, Open communication, Accountability, Celebration, Hard work, Team) means the most to you and why?
Team means the most me. Each member of my team works really well together to get things done.
How does the 2018 theme “Live Limitless” match your own passions?
I’m a pretty simple guy. To “Live Limitless,” I just focus on doing the best I can at what I do each day.
What’s your favorite work snack?
Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
What do you do for fun?
I love fishing and spending time with my wife and grandkids. When I get the chance, I enjoy going to Flaming Gorge.
What’s your favorite show to binge watch?
“Sons of Anarchy.” I didn’t have a tv for six years, but that show got me hooked on tv again.
What’s your favorite/dream vacation spot?
My wife and I would like to go to Ireland or Scotland someday.
What inspires you?
Helping people. Even outside of work, my main goal is to help people. Working in I.T. and being a member of this team allows me to do that every day.
What is your greatest achievement?
Going back to college and working hard to get where I am now is a huge achievement that I’m proud of.
What keyword or motto do you live by?
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
