ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Company Culture Leader and cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive events and activities calendar aligned with company values and objectives.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate various company events, including but not limited to team-building activities, holiday parties, employee recognition programs, volunteer initiatives, wellness events, and cultural celebrations.
  • Assist with all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, promotion, attendee registration, and on-site coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and provide support to employees, managers, and external partners as needed.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance company culture, employee morale, and overall workplace satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to event planning and employee engagement.
  • Coordination and oversight of Executive level scheduling of meetings and events.
  • Booking travel for Executives and various other employees.
  • Expert level note taking and follow-up.
  • Administrative support for CEO and executive leadership groups of company (managing calendars, meetings and meeting transcription, action items and meeting minutes).
  • All other duties as assigned.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, communications, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting. Certification in event management is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for designing engaging and memorable experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel), SharePoint, Smartsheet and event management software. Familiarity with design tools and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for event setup, execution, and teardown, including the ability to be contacted at those times.

As a Logistics Coach for our Factoring team, you will oversee the sales growth of the team by delegating and coordinating daily activities of all members of the team. In this role you will be responsible for the coaching and mentoring of a group of Account Managers, leading the growth and development of current accounts in addition to new business. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the hiring, training and development of a productive team of inside sales representatives for the Factoring Division.
  • Conduct individual performance reviews of Account Managers and monitor progress to achieve results.
  • Develop, review, and assist with presentations to existing and potential clients.
  • Review all booked factoring deals and maintain the team's margin goals.
  • Participate in manager's meetings.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team goals.
  • Lead by example, setting a solid work ethic with all of the members on your team.
  • Apply COACH Team principles and help account managers succeed and thrive at EL.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of two years in the direct sale of products or services.
  • Prefer a minimum of one year in a management or supervisory position - preferably in a sales capacity.
  • Ability to be persuasive and influential. Prefer experience in a goal based or performance metric environment.
  • Strong verbal, written, communication skills and phone sales skills.
  • Prefer MS Word and Excel expertise. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi task.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of information.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a dynamic personality.
