We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Employee Culture Coordinator. This role will focus on coordinating and executing a wide range of events, activities, and initiatives aimed at fostering a positive company culture and enhancing employee engagement. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating memorable experiences and promoting a sense of family within the organization. This person will have an in-depth understanding of our core values and live and breathe them in a way that everyone will feel their love for the mission of England Logistics.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Company Culture Leader and cross-functional teams to develop and execute a comprehensive events and activities calendar aligned with company values and objectives.
  • Plan, organize, and coordinate various company events, including but not limited to team-building activities, holiday parties, employee recognition programs, volunteer initiatives, wellness events, and cultural celebrations.
  • Assist with all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, scheduling, promotion, attendee registration, and on-site coordination.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event-related inquiries and provide support to employees, managers, and external partners as needed.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess the success of each event and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance company culture, employee morale, and overall workplace satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to event planning and employee engagement.
  • Coordination and oversight of Executive level scheduling of meetings and events.
  • Booking travel for Executives and various other employees.
  • Expert level note taking and follow-up.
  • Administrative support for CEO and executive leadership groups of company (managing calendars, meetings and meeting transcription, action items and meeting minutes).
  • All other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, event planning, communications, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in event planning, preferably in a corporate or organizational setting. Certification in event management is a plus.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and a passion for designing engaging and memorable experiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel), SharePoint, Smartsheet and event management software. Familiarity with design tools and social media platforms is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required for event setup, execution, and teardown, including the ability to be contacted at those times.
