The Client Services Representative plays an important role in the overall success and health of our factoring portfolio. The CSR works as part of a team in a fast-paced high impact environment. The CSR works to cultivate and grow Client relationships and is responsible for the day to day communication with the client. The CSR will collaborate with credit, collections, and operations and various other internal departments to resolve Client account issues or concerns. In addition our ideal candidate will also be detail oriented and possess a positive hard working attitude.

• Post cash receipts to the correct division and account both timely and accurately

The primary function of this role will be to assist with the daily tasks related to finance. As a staff accountant you will be responsible for month end close and account reconciliations, this includes importing/exporting of data from databases to our accounting software including Great Plains. This individual will work closely with other accounting team members to set process and procedures. Our ideal candidate will possess attention to detail along with accuracy, the ability to work alongside a multitude of personalities in a team-based environment, and a forward-thinking personality that will allow our ideal candidate to identify process improvement opportunities.  

Responsibilities

• Complete financial account reconciliations
• Complete bank account reconciliations
• Prepare period-end accruals
• Prepare imports and exports from various data bases
• Ensure that information is uploaded into accounting software
• Ensure that all information imported is accurate and factual
• Usage of Great Plains software
• Assist in month end close
• Ensure that all processes and procedures are being followed

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of GAAP is preferred
• Understanding of Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Must have at least one year of accounting experience
• Ability to implement process improvement strategies

The individual is responsible for auditing customer invoices in accordance to England Carrier Service's standard operating procedures. The position would require proficiency in all processing functions within the department and excellent client service and relationship skills.   Our ideal candidate must demonstrate good problem solving, organizational, and PC skills. They must also possess strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to meet multiple deadlines. They must have the ability and willingness to adapt to change and to be a team player in a fast paced environment. Candidate must be able to audit an average of 150 invoices daily with the expectation of primary communication by phone calls.
