ason began his legacy at England Logistics in 2004 and has served in various positions within brokerage services, sales and operations. Jason rose to be England Logistics’ leader through his passion for people and obsession with betterment. His enthusiasm is infused throughout England Logistics’ culture. One to lift wherever he stands,

Jason has also served in the transportation and logistics community. Most notably, Jason served a two-year term as chairman of the board of directors for the Transportation Intermediaries Association. Having instigated many of EL’s ties to other local organizations, his impact has made an enormous difference in the community. Jason has been recognized with several notable accolades, including the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award and Weber State’s Young Alumnus of the Year. He continues to receive thanks for his contributions to a vital industry.

 
SHAUN BEARDALL
EVP, Logistics Services, England Logistics

Shaun Beardall’s career in the transportation industry began in 2005 when he joined C.R. England as the weekend fleet manager. In 2007, he joined England Logistics as director of container operations. He moved to Portland, OR in 2012 to oversee the integration of an England Logistics acquisition. After much success in Portland, he relocated back to Salt Lake City to lead our full truckload brokerage.

Today, as executive vice president of logistics services, Shaun has executive responsibility for all England Logistics’ brokerage services, including full truckload, temp-controlled and dry less-than-truckload, and parcel, as well as our supply chain management group and Authorized Agent Division.

 

 
RYAN LAVIGNE
EVP, England Carrier Services

Ryan is executive vice president of England Carrier Services (ECS). Previously he served five years as vice president of ECS. He joined England Logistics in 2010 as director of ECS and was promoted to vice president of ECS in 2015. Substantial growth under Ryan’s direction as the vice president of ECS resulted in his promotion and the creation of additional leadership roles reporting to him in support of future expansion. Prior to joining England Logistics, he spent seven years in international finance developing foreign markets.

Ryan’s background in finance and treasury management has equipped him with an understanding of the importance of company cash flow, along with a plethora of accounting jokes. During his tenure at England Logistics, Ryan has made great strides within the ECS division by building a high-powered team that has created jobs, career advancement, and personal development opportunities.

JEREMY DAILAMI
EVP, People & Operations, England Logistics

In September of 2009, the most enthusiastic of England Logistics’ team members would meet their match. Almost instantly proving to be a livewire and a powder keg of energy, Jeremy entered the sales floor as a capacity manager, then an account manager, and within months he advanced to become a logistics coach. His legacy of promoting within his career, and elevating people, has cemented many treasured relationships during his time at EL.

Determined optimism, coupled with his natural talent and intuition for business, culminated in his appointment as EL’s first director of cold chain. After seeing tremendous success in this role, Jeremy took on the responsibility of directing the full truckload division in October 2015. As a result of significant positive results in leading the division, Jeremy was promoted to vice president of brokerage services where he developed innovative strategies to accelerate growth within England Logistics’ brokerage divisions, including full truckload, temp-controlled, less-than-truckload, and parcel divisions.

Now serving as executive vice president of people and operations, Jeremy will have oversight of England Logistics’ operational divisions. In this role, he will continue to foster strategic growth in support of business objectives and employee development.

He is one of the most respected voices in the trucking industry, with more than 35 years of experience in the fields of commercial transportation, data science, supply chain management, risk management, telematics and human performance. Transportation brokers, motor carriers, news organizations and industry analysts rely on Dean’s perspective on market trends and data. Dean’s market updates are publicly available at dat.com and on the weekly DAT iQ Market Update video series on YouTube, LinkedIn and Facebook.From a family-owned trucking business in Australia, Dean holds a U.S. Commercial Driver License and has completed nearly 2 million miles as a long-distance truck driver.

With 22 years of experience in the transportation industry, Lori Eakins came to C.R. England with uncommon expertise in freight. After demonstrating remarkable leadership as the vice president of corporate sales, Lori soon expanded her responsibilities to include C.R. England’s Dedicated, OTR and Intermodal divisions.Lori’s resume features a few familiar names, including Walmart Stores Inc. and the Coca-Cola Company. Having held positions in global logistics procurement and operations, dedicated procurement and operations, international trade, and compliance, Lori has somehow been able to keep her head up under the pressure of so many hats. Lori’s prowess for an evolving history is strong evidence of her talent as a leader. Backed by her degree in accounting, Lori continues to make every day count.

Having developed expansive freight expertise at companies like DHL, Kuehne + Nagel, and other 3PLs, Rick brings with him a deep familiarity with freight that few leaders do. Rick now cultivates the growth of a nationwide clientele as the director of national sales.With a rare knowledge of international air and ocean and brokerage services, Rick calls on this knowledge in his face-to-face meetings with England Logistics’ clients frequently. Coupled with his passion for helping people succeed, Rick is a talented and impressive leader.

 

JUSTIN OLSEN
VP, Legal & Risk Management, England Logistics

Justin Olsen joined England Logistics in June 2015 as vice president of Legal & Risk Management. Prior to accepting his position with England Logistics, Justin was in private legal practice for over 20 years and was a founding member of the Salt Lake City-based law firm of Olsen, Skoubye & Nielson, LLC.  From 1991-1994, Justin was in-house legal counsel for two large trucking companies.

Justin’s extensive experience has led him to serve in many capacities within industry associations. He is a former vice-chair of the Transportation Lawyers Association’s (TLA) Logistics and E-Commerce Committee and previously served on TLA’s Executive Committee. In 2023, Justin was elected to the TIA’s board of directors. He has also served as a member of the Carrier Selection Framework Committee, TIA’s Fraud Task Force, TIA’s Legal Committee, TIA’s Contracts Committee and TIA’s Education Committee. Justin is also a member of the Conference of Freight Counsel. He has also been named by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s Legal Elite.

David Scandlyn brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Director of Brokerage Sales at DAT Freight & Analytics. His career in the freight and logistics sector is built on a foundation of relationship management and operational efficiency. Starting his professional journey in healthcare administration, David honed his skills in crisis management, process improvement and relationship development. In 2012, he transitioned to transportation services with C.H. Robinson, where he advanced through various roles, including carrier sales, shipper sales, and Director of Strategic Accounts. David’s transition to freight technology at DAT in 2021 as a National Account Representative allowed him to broaden his industry perspective. As Director of Brokerage Sales, David focuses on enhancing the customer experience and driving strategic growth, leveraging his extensive industry knowledge to foster innovation and operational excellence across the U.S. brokerage market.
