England Logistics welcomed Josh to the England Carrier Services (ECS)<\/a> team as a fuel account manager in March 2018. Josh worked hard and quickly advanced to the role of logistics coach, where he now shares his keys for success with his team. Learn more about Josh and his experience at England Logistics!<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n I was looking to make a career change and wanted a company that had the same cultural values that I did. Two of my friends told me about England Logistics and I was sold.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I\u2019ve never worked for a company where the vision for the company is as clear as it is here. While working at other companies, I never met the president of the organization. When I came to England Logistics and saw Jason Beardall<\/a>, England Logistics\u2019 president, walking among everybody, I was surprised.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It could be that I\u2019m ex-military, but I believe everyone should be held accountable for their actions and celebrated for them as well.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s military-type camaraderie. We have a mantra on our team, \u201cWin together, fail together.\u201d The team isn\u2019t winning until everyone is elevated.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you don\u2019t know your \u201cwhy\u201d take the time to figure it out. You don\u2019t know where you\u2019re going unless you have vision.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I like my creamer with a little bit of coffee.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n I love woodworking and building things. I\u2019m always interested in things that make me work with my hands. I also love aquascaping and creating fish tanks. Any type of science experiment fascinates me.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cFriends.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Okinawa, Japan would be a dream. I\u2019m one-quarter Japanese. My grandmother is from Okinawa, so I\u2019d love to learn more about my heritage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What motivates me the most in all aspects of life is to leave a mark. To make something better when I leave. It\u2019s not the recognition, but the pride knowing I made a difference.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cYou get what you give.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The president\u2019s introduction for new hires because I think it is the most impactful.
