What brought you to England Logistics?<\/strong><\/h4>\nTruthfully, it\u2019s a crazy story. I found out my boss at my previous job was quitting and going to England Logistics. I had heard good things about C.R. England, so I asked him more about it. He asked what I\u2019m looking to do with my career and said he would put in a good word for me at EL. Now I\u2019m here. It was just destiny I guess.<\/p>\n

How is England Logistics different than other companies you\u2019ve worked for?<\/strong><\/h4>\nThe culture here is definitely stronger. You get a very friendly and pro-employee vibe from upper management. They celebrate and appreciate their employees. I came from the hotel industry and the relationships there are very dry, whereas at EL everyone\u2019s open and willing to help.<\/p>\n

What has been your most memorable moment at England Logistics?<\/strong><\/h4>\nMy most memorable moment was probably hitting SAM and landing my biggest account. I was able to start working with a customer when they were first starting out, and now they\u2019re celebrating reaching their highest volume yet. Getting SAM was also memorable because I proved that it can be done in the Parcel division. I feel like this achievement paved the road for future account managers.<\/p>\n

Just like any team, you are only as good as those around you. As long as you have a supporting team, you can lean on them for support and succeed.<\/p>\n

Do you have any advice for new or potential EL employees?<\/strong><\/h4>\nDon\u2019t get down on yourself and don\u2019t get frustrated if you\u2019re not seeing instant success. That\u2019s a tough one. I see a lot of account managers and business development managers come in and get frustrated because they\u2019re seeing their co-workers\u2019 numbers. Find your own way to be successful and focus on something that you\u2019re passionate about. I decided to switch my business into something that I can have a conversation around. Find an industry that excites you and that you can have a conversation about with the customer. Those customers stay with you if you build that relationship with them.<\/p>\n
