\nThe CVSA Roadcheck<\/a> is an annual safety enforcement event that includes a high volume of carrier inspections in Canada, the US and Mexico. This year, the Roadcheck will be held May 16 \u2013 18, emphasizing anti-lock braking systems (ABS) and cargo securement.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s important to be prepared for the Roadcheck: If a carrier fails an inspection, their vehicle, or even their operating privileges, may be suspended until violations are resolved.<\/p>\n

To help you stay safe and prevent a potential suspension, here are the details for the 2023 CVSA Roadcheck.<\/p>\n

How Inspections Are Conducted<\/u><\/em><\/h3>\n

CVSA officers will conduct an intensive sweep of uninspected carriers for 72 hours during the Roadcheck. Though inspections can occur in various locations, the most common will include weigh stations<\/a>, designated areas, and roadways.<\/p>\n
