Google Maps Now Displays COVID-19 Information

Traveling during COVID-19 has, at times, been difficult for truck drivers. Now, to keep travelers informed, Google Maps will display local agency travel alerts and COVID-19 checkpoints along your routes. Local state and federal governments will report information to Google, including COVID-19 checkpoints.

The SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program Deadline is Today

FMCSA extends some COVID-19 relief exemptions to July

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has extended its pandemic-related emergency for the third time. The order will now go through July 14, 2020. The extension involves specific categories such as livestock and livestock feed, medical supplies related to testing and treating COVID-19, and supplies and equipment necessary for safety, sanitation, and prevention of community transition of COVID-19.

Due to the many DMV closures across the country, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has expanded its COVID-19 emergency declaration to allow examiners to conduct CDL driver skills tests from outside the truck.
