Each year we travel to different states and hotels to make the conference more accessible to our nationwide agents.

This year we are thrilled to announce that the 2017 conference will be held at the Radisson Hotel in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, UT, home of England Logistics.

The hotel offers a wide array of amenities including a state-of-the-art fitness facility, free high-speed internet access, an indoor pool, whirlpool, sauna and concierge service. The hotel is convenient to the Salt Lake International Airport, downtown and top attractions including Historic Temple Square, Discovery Gateway Museum, Salt Palace Convention Center, shopping areas, restaurants and ski resorts, providing guests with endless entertainment opportunities.

Travelling Outside the Salt Lake City Area

Utah is home to many diverse and beautiful attractions. While many are within 30 minutes of downtown Salt Lake, there are several that require a little more planning. For example, Utah's "Mighty Five" National Parks are predominantly located in the southern part of the state. Entering these parks is a once in a lifetime opportunity and shouldn't be missed. Renting a car in Salt Lake and driving would likely be easiest, though flights into St George and Moab are prevalent from Salt Lake. There is also a shuttle company (St George Shuttle) that provides services between Salt Lake and Las Vegas, with several stops along the way.

You can also use your favorite travel planning website to help schedule your trip to the agent conference. Here are some popular online travel agencies:

Orbitz

Kayak

Priceline

Southwest Airlines (Pricing does not show on 3rd party sites)

Feel free to contact us (801-865-3078) to discuss different options while developing your travel plan.

Downtown Salt Lake

Check out the arts and culture scene, shop until you drop, take in some pro sports, research your family historyor get your nature fix in the nearby mountains. Salt Lake also happens to be the perfect base from which to plan a trip to one or more of the awe-inspiring nearby national parks.

There are two major outdoor shopping and entertainment complexes (Gateway City Creek) within three blocks of the hotel, complete with restaurants, bars and literally hundreds of individual shops. Historic Temple Square is also just a short walk away. There you can learn more about Utah's Mormon pioneers, view the beautiful gardens or take in a concert by the world famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Mountain Activities

It's impossible to visit Salt Lake and not notice the breathtaking topography that surrounds the city. Nothing compares to experiencing it personally, so get out and enjoy the mountains first hand. From snow skiingto lazy scenic drives, there is something for everyone just minutes from downtown Salt Lake. Here is just a short list of activities that we recommend:

    - Homestead Crater for the only warm water scuba diving destination in the country.

    - Sundance Mountain Resortwhich was founded by Robert Redford in 1969.

    - Snowbird Tram takes you effortlessly to the summit of the 11,000 ft. Hidden Peak.

    - Park City is Utah's most famous mountain ski town, full of shopping, restaurants and star gazing (as in rich and famous visitors.)

    - Utah Olympic Parkhosted several events in the 2002 Winter Olympics and continues to be the training site for many Winter Olympic teams from all over the world.

    - There are thousands of hiking trails throughout Northern Utah that range from casual walks to aggressive mountaineering.
